content preferences detail (Content Preferences)

The `consent` command shows a character's content preferences for adult and intense scene content. Shadow Beach is R-rated by default. These preferences cover content that needs clearer agreement before it becomes explicit or central to a scene.

            `Okay` is not permission to surprise someone with intense content. It means the player is generally comfortable with that category under normal scene consent. Anyone can still pause, ask to fade to black, or call an X-card.

            Usage:
              consent
              consent <character>
              consent/edit
              consent/copy <character>
              consent/target <character>

            Examples:
              consent
              consent Mara
              consent/copy Jules
              consent/target Mara

            Common Commands:
              consent
                Open the consent menu for your current character. From there you can view and edit your general consent preferences.

              consent <character>
                Show another character's visible content preferences as they apply to you. If that character has a per-target profile for your character, it overrides their general profile in this display.

              consent/edit
                Open the consent menu. This is the same as `consent`.

              consent/copy <character>
                Copy general preferences from another character on your account.

              consent/target <character>
                Create or edit a per-character consent record for one specific character. This is a shortcut for the target-profile editor inside `consent`. The first time you use this for a target, it copies your general consent data and then lets you edit the record for that character only.

            Preference Values:
              No
                Do not involve this character in this content.

              Fade to Black
                The premise may exist, but explicit depiction should stop or skip.

              Ask First
                Check with the player before including this content.

              Okay
                The player is generally comfortable with this content under normal scene consent.

            Categories:
              Consensual Sex
                Explicit sexual content where all characters are freely consenting in the scene. This includes sexual RP and explicit description of sexual acts. Incidental or public-context erotic presentation, such as nudity at a strip club, is not automatically covered by this flag.

              Coercive Sexual Content
                Sexual content involving compromised consent without crossing into direct sexual violence. This includes sexual blackmail, threats, supernatural compulsion, mind control, captivity pressure, intoxication, transactional pressure, or other situations where a character's ability to freely consent is meaningfully impaired.

              Sexual Violence
                Forced sexual acts, attempted forced sexual acts, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault, threats of sexual assault, or physical violence used to force sexual compliance. This also covers scenes where a character is sexually harmed or an attempted sexual assault is central, even if the scene fades to black before explicit contact.

              Extreme Torture
                Unusually severe, prolonged, or explicitly described torture. Regular torture can exist in the game's R-rated baseline and is not automatically covered by this flag. The flag applies when a scene lingers on severe suffering, mutilation, interrogation abuse, or extended cruelty in graphic detail, or makes that suffering the central focus of play.

              Graphic Injury & Gore
                Explicit description of severe wounds, blood, dismemberment, exposed organs, body destruction, or aftermath gore. Ordinary combat, injury, blood, corpses, and horror imagery are part of the game's R-rated baseline; this flag is for especially graphic depiction.

            Notes:
              Preferences are per-character. Use `consent` to set your general profile and `consent/target <character>` to set a per-character profile for one specific character.

              Per-target profiles override your general profile only for scenes with that character. If Mara has a general profile and a per-target profile for Jules, Jules sees Mara's custom profile when using `consent Mara`; everyone else sees Mara's general profile.

              If a character has not customized preferences yet, treat every category as `Ask First`.
